Situated in the heart of the Netherlands, in a fantastic building designed by Dutch architect Abel Cahen, The LAKMA aims not just to display and collect items relating to art, fashion,and textile design, but to offer inspiration to a new generation of creative artist & designers. The LAKMA is a hub of learning, ideas and networking for the art and fashion industry.
The LAKMA offers brand-new, smoke-free art exhibitions, meeting and conference rooms as well as and an attractive area for drinks, dinners and receptions.

Our facilities include an auditorium fully equiped with audio, wide screen and broadband internet suitable for webcasting and wifi computers.
All rooms are wheelchair accessible.

LAKMA offers an stunning building in the heart the Netherlands. The museum has several spaces available to use either separately or jointly - perfect for everything from a major fashion or product launch to an intimate meeting or seminar.
An impressive and versatile space providing the perfect back drop for all types of event. Capacity: 300 guests for standing reception/100 guests for dinner/250 for seated presentations.
The atrium is ideal to set up a catwalk or studio with the convenience of having the auditorium connected as well as an equip ed kitchen.
The auditorium provides a professional setting, fully equipped with a large screen, presenters podium and sound system, the screens move up automatically creating a stage ideal for debates, conference style presentations or a small show. It has 75 theater style chairs and great acoustic and light system.
Four exhibition rooms provide valuable additional space to exhibit art as well as designs, installations or vitrines. All rooms are accessible from the Atrium hall and have multiple windows providing outside by visitors an inside view.
Photo studio can be set up in a flash, you are welcomed to use our equipment or bring your own setting. Alternatively we can connect you with trusted and professional photographers our network.
We have two vitrines, ideal for a long term installation or display, both facing a well visited street towards the lively shopping street of Amersfoort.
Located near the lobby of the building, the Conference Room is an ideal space for board meetings of up to 16 people, or can cater for up to 25 people theatre style. It is also equipped with a projector.
For Larger events such as fairs and large shows, we have retained a number of Dates in the Auditorium and event center of the Flint which is less than 100 meters from our building. If you are planing a large event with us, we welcome you to benefit from our special discount rates.
